Too Young for Sunscreen

Need a healthy alternative to sunscreen? How about using our peekaboo blanket like Elizabeth suggests:

I received the blanket as a gift and have really loved it. My son is now almost a year old and we use it all the time. My son was born in September, so he was too young for sunscreen but the weather was beautiful for going out for walks. One of my favorite aspects of the [peekaboo] blanket was that I could put the blanket over the stroller so we could go out for walks on warm, sunny days without me having to be concerned that he would get a sunburn. I could then use the blanket to cover myself while nursing him and I didn’t have to carry a million things in my inevitably overcrowded diaper bag.

Now that my son is a year, we still use the blanket when I need some privacy for nursing. The blanket is more than ample to cover him, and the mesh pockets really help keep him cool, as he gets hot very easily.

Overall, this is a great blanket that you will use over and over again!
